We take your privacy seriously and comply with all legislation including the EU GDPR which came into effect on 25 May, 2018.

Collection of information

For orders placed on the website, or by telephone, we collect your name, postal address, postcode, telephone number and email address for billing and delivery (if different). We need this information in order to process payment, to deliver the goods and to contact you in case we have questions about, or problems with, your order. We never store any credit or debit card information. We keep order information for 6 years as some of our products carry a lifetime warranty.

If you enter one of our competitions online we may collect your name, town and email address. We use your email address to notify you if you win and may use your name and town to declare a winner subject to the competitions' terms of entry. All competition entries are removed after 12 months.

If you use our contact form to send us a message we will store your email address along with any reference you enter. This data is retained for 6 years.

If you sign up to our mailing list your first and last name and email address are held by our third-party mailing list provider, MailChimp. We use this list to make you aware of new products and promotions that may be of interest to you. You may unsubscribe from this list at any time.

Cookie/Tracking Technology

The Site makes use of cookie and tracking technology. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. We do not use cookies or other tracking technology to collect personal information, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.

Sharing of information

We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud preventions or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies for marketing purposes.

We may share your data with selected third parties in order to fulfil your order. We never sell your data.

We need to share your data with our delivery partners, Royal Mail and Parcelforce in order for them to be deliver your order. Our secure payment processor, Sagepay, collects your credit and debit card information in order to process payments.

On some occasions stock may be directly shipped from suppliers and manufacturers. We will therefore need to share your data with them and their courier companies to fulfil your order.

Commitment to Data Security

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings.

Deletion of your personal data

We will retain your data for a maximum period of 6 years. At anytime you may request your personal data to be deleted from our database. This includes all order data history which will not be recoverable.
